A View of Death
The Egg By: Andy Weir You were on your way home when you died. It was a car accident. Nothing particularly remarkable, but fatal nonetheless. You left behind a wife and two children. It was a painless death. The EMTs tried their best to save you, but to no avail. Your body was so utterly shattered you were better off, trust me.
Screts in Plain Sight
Secrets In Plain Sight is an awe inspiring exploration of great art, architecture, and urban design which skillfully unveils an unlikely intersection of geometry, politics, numerical philosophy, religious mysticism, new physics, music, astronomy, and world history. Exploring key monuments and their positions in Egypt, Stonehenge, Jerusalem, Rome, Paris, London, Edinburgh, Washington DC, New York, and San Francisco brings to light a secret obsession shared by pharaohs, philosophers and kings; templars and freemasons; great artists and architects; popes and presidents, spanning the whole of recorded history up to the present time. As the series of videos reveals how profound ancient knowledge inherited from Egypt has been encoded in units of measurement, in famous works of art, in the design of major buildings, in the layout of city streets and public spaces, and in the precise placement of obelisks and other important monuments upon the Earth, the viewer is led to perceive an elegant harmonic system linking the human body with the architectural, urban, planetary, solar, and galactic scales (view video)
How Music Affects the Mind, Health, Plants and Animal
Why 'Good Vibrations' may be Bad at Reverse Spins, by William House, Editor Reverse Spins: It may be the greatest secret on the spiritual path. Most of today's music is a hindrance not a help. This has been written about from ancient Greece and even more so today but has fallen on deaf ears. Why? Because this very same music makes us feel good, relieves our stress and tensions, releases anger and we're happier listening to it, so it can't be bad. Before investigating why feeling good may be bad, lets review the evidence published and otherwise documented. (go to web site) ...
Chakras
The word chakra is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning "wheel".If we were able to see the chakras (as many psychics, in fact, do) we would observe a wheel of energy continuously revolving or rotating. Clairvoyants perceive chakras as colorful wheels or flowers with a hub in the center. The Chakras begin at the base of the spine and finish at the top of the head. Though fixed in the central spinal column they are located on both the front and back of the body, and work through it. (go to web site)
COLOUR THERAPY
Colour Therapy is a complementary therapy for which there is evidence dating back thousands of years to the ancient cultures of Egypt, China and India. Colour is simply light of varying wavelengths, thus each colour has its own particular wavelength and energy. The energy relating to each of the seven spectrum of colours red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet, resonates with the energy of each of the seven main chakras/energy centres of the body. If you can imagine the chakras as a set of cogs/wheels, they are rather like the workings of a clock or an engine; each cog/wheel needs to move smoothly for the clock/engine to work properly. Thus good health and wellbeing is achieved by a balance of all these energies. (go to web site)
Pranic Healing
Pranic healing is an ancient science and art of healing that utilizes prana or ki or life energy to heal the whole physical body. It also involves the manipulation of ki and bioplasmic matter of the patient's body. It has also been called medical qigong (ki kung or ki healing), psychic healing, vitalic healing, therapeutic touch, laying of the hand, magnetic healing, faith healing, and charismatic healing. Pyramids come in two forms: metallic and non-metallic.
A metallic pyramid harnesses the electromagnetic field of the earth, and tends to concentrate its energies onto the surface of the pyramid, where the metal is. These pyramids should be aligned to magnetic North to have the greatest effect. Non-metallic pyramids, being composed of non-conductive materials like wood and stone, consist of the majority of the pyramids around the earth: from the Great One in Giza, to the ones in China and Turkey, to those that exist in North and South America. These pyramids are said to harness the rotational inertia of the Earth, and because of this, they should be aligned to True North. Non-metallic pyramids tend to concentrate their energies into the center of the pyramid, and thus the reason for its name "Pyr-a-mid," or "Fire-in-the-Middle." In non-metallic pyramids, like the Great Pyramid, the greatest concentration of energy is located at what is called the King's Chamber. This is also the geometric center of the pyramid, located at one-third up its height from its base. Pyramids act as an amplifier of one's thought energy, thus if you are focusing on a thought or an idea that you want to manifest into your life, it will amplify that thought accordingly. (Thus, be mindful of your thoughts, as your thoughts do make a difference, especially inside a pyramid!) Also, if one is trying to clear one's thoughts, as is done in many forms of meditation, the intent of that thought is amplified, and one can go into a deeper state of focus and peace much more quickly and easily. The Great Pyramid Facts
The Great Pyramid a true masterpiece and has rightly earned the title of a “Wonder”. It was built with such precision that our current technology cannot replicate it. There are so many interesting facts about this Pyramid that it baffles archaeologists, scientists, astronomers and tourists. The pyramid is estimated to have around 2,300,000 stone blocks that weigh from 2 to 30 tons each and there are even some blocks that weigh over 50 tons. The Pyramid of Menkaure, the Pyramid of Khafre and the Great Pyramid of Khufu are precisely aligned with the Constellation of Orion. The base of the pyramid covers 55,000 m2 (592,000 ft 2) with each side greater than 20,000 m2 (218,000 ft2) in area. The interior temperature is constant and equals the average temperature of the earth, 20 Degrees Celsius (68 Degrees Fahrenheit). The outer mantle was composed of 144,000 casing stones, all of them highly polished and flat to an accuracy of 1/100th of an inch, about 100 inches thick and weighing approx. 15 tons each. The cornerstone foundations of the pyramid have ball and socket construction capable of dealing with heat expansion and earthquakes. The mortar used is of an unknown origin (Yes, no explanation given). It has been analyzed and its chemical composition is known but it can’t be reproduced. It is stronger than the stone and still holding up today. It was originally covered with casing stones (made of highly polished limestone). These casing stones reflected the sun’s light and made the pyramid shine like a jewel. They are no longer present being used by Arabs to build mosques after an earthquake in the 14th century loosened many of them. It has been calculated that the original pyramid with its casing stones would act like gigantic mirrors and reflect light so powerful that it would be visible from the moon as a shining star on earth. Appropriately, the ancient Egyptians called the Great Pyramid “Ikhet”, meaning the “Glorious Light”. How these blocks were transported and assembled into the pyramid is still a mystery. - http://www.gizapyramid.com/general.htm Aligned True North: The Great Pyramid is the most accurately aligned structure in existence and faces true north with only 3/60th of a degree of error. The position of the North Pole moves over time and the pyramid was exactly aligned at one time. Center of Land Mass: The Great Pyramid is located at the center of the land mass of the earth. The east/west parallel that crosses the most land and the north/south meridian that crosses the most land intersect in two places on the earth, one in the ocean and the other at the Great Pyramid. The four faces of the pyramid are slightly concave, the only pyramid to have been built this way. The centers of the four sides are indented with an extraordinary degree of precision forming the only 8 sided pyramid, this effect is not visible from the ground or from a distance but only from the air, and then only under the proper lighting conditions. This phenomenon is only detectable from the air at dawn and sunset on the spring and autumn equinoxes, when the sun casts shadows on the pyramid. The granite coffer in the “King’s Chamber” is too big to fit through the passages and so it must have been put in place during construction. The coffer was made out of a block of solid granite. This would have required bronze saws 8-9 ft. long set with teeth of sapphires. Hollowing out of the interior would require tubular drills of the same material applied with a tremendous vertical force. Microscopic analysis of the coffer reveals that it was made with a fixed point drill that used hard jewel bits and a drilling force of 2 tons. The Great Pyramid had a swivel door entrance at one time. Swivel doors were found in only two other pyramids: Khufu’s father and grandfather, Sneferu and Huni, respectively. It is reported that when the pyramid was first broken into that the swivel door, weighing some 20 tons, was so well balanced that it could be opened by pushing out from the inside with only minimal force, but when closed, was so perfect a fit that it could scarcely be detected and there was not enough crack or crevice around the edges to gain a grasp from the outside. With the mantle in place, the Great Pyramid could be seen from the mountains in Israel and probably the moon as well. The weight of the pyramid is estimated at 5,955,000 tons. Multiplied by 10^8 gives a reasonable estimate of the earth’s mass. The Descending Passage pointed to the pole star Alpha Draconis, circa 2170-2144 BCE. This was the North Star at that point in time. No other star has aligned with the passage since then. The southern shaft in the King’s Chamber pointed to the star Al Nitak (Zeta Orionis) in the constellation Orion, circa 2450 BCE The Orion constellation was associated with the Egyptian god Osiris. No other star aligned with this shaft during that time in history. Sun’s Radius: Twice the perimeter of the bottom of the granite coffer times 10^8 is the sun’s mean radius. [270.45378502 Pyramid Inches* 10^8 = 427,316 miles] The curvature designed into the faces of the pyramid exactly matches the radius of the earth. Khufu’s pyramid, known as the great pyramid of Giza, is the oldest and largest, rising at 481 feet (146 meters). Archaeologists say it was the tallest structure in the world for about 3, 800 years. The relationship between Pi (p) and Phi (F) is expressed in the fundamental proportions of the Great Pyramid. the GreatPyramid Reference: The Great Pyramid: A Miracle in Stone, 1973, Joseph A. Creating a Vortex
Before creating a Vortex, see if there is an Existing Vortex in the area that you can use. This procedure can also be used to reopen a Vortex that has been Closed. There are different ways to create a Vortex and different sources of energy that can be used. However, a step that is common and important for all of them is to start with the intention of creating a Vortex and to hold the thought of the highest good. We are powerful and have skills beyond what we know. This is especially true when we work in groups where skills and gifts create synergy. It is also good to decide what the Vortex will be used for, for how long, and possible sources of energy. It is good to select the source of energy and determine the direction of rotation before starting (see Vortex Rotation for more information.) Checking with your intuition is recommended throughout this entire process. 1. Find a location where people can go to, but one which is not a location where people usually are. For example, a corner of a private garden or an area in a wood or field are much better than in a path or in an area where people might walk through. This is because people should have the conscious choice to be in the presence of the Vortex or not. This is discussed further in How to Use a Vortex. 2. Take time to center yourself and to check how you are feeling before starting to create the Vortex. If you are feeling scattered or have negative emotions, wait for a better time. 3. It can be valuable to establish a focal point for the center of the Vortex. Use a crystal, rock, or other object. This is a form of communication both with the seen and the unseen. When you are ready and have found the right location, place the object were you want the center to be. You may chose to use a special or valuable object (like a gem stone). It is good if the object to be used is chosen by the person who will be the caretaker of the Vortex. Once the Vortex is established and flowing, you can replace the valuable object with a more common one. A rock can be a good choice. 4. Gather your Authority. Sometimes this feels like or can be seen as a cloud of energy around the head and upper body. Ask that the Vortex only be created if it is in accordance with the will of Spirit. 5. Visualize a possible source for the Vortex. For example, if using Earth energy, project your awareness down into the Earth where you may see the energy as a dark red color. Imagine the energy flowing and linking up so that it can flow out through the Vortex. When using the energy that can create earthquakes or other natural disasters, this linking up can extend along fault lines to places that are remote from the location of the Vortex. Generally this linking up happens more in a horizontal direction than in a vertical direction. You may wish to connect up to other earth energy that is either closer to the surface or deeper. One possibility is to connect to the core of the Earth where there is a lot of energy (checking with intuition is a good way to choose). Be aware that this linking up can take time and hold the intention that it continues for as long as necessary. 6. Connect with the Energy and ask it to emerge as a Vortex. Then visualize it flowing, weaving together and flowing through the focal point as it rotates in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. Holding sacred objects or sacred sounds using chimes, drums, singing, toning, etc. can help with this process. 7. Continue to visualize this process until you feel that the Vortex is flowing and will continue to flow. A Vortex seems to be self governing and will increase or decrease its flow in accordance to what is needed for the beings that are present. 8. Gratitude: Thank the source or sources, Spirit, and any participants for their help in establishing the Vortex. For considerations such as care and responsibilities, see How to Use a Vortex. What does it mean that Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega?
Answer: Jesus proclaimed Himself to be the “Alpha and Omega” in Revelation 1:8, 11; 21:6; and 22:13. Alpha and omega are the first and last letters of the Greek alphabet. Among the Jewish rabbis, it was common to use the first and the last letters of the Hebrew alphabet to denote the whole of anything, from beginning to end. Jesus as the beginning and end of all things is a reference to no one but the true God. This statement of eternality could apply only to God. It is seen especially in Revelation 22:13, where Jesus proclaims that He is “the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” Read more: http://www.gotquestions.org/alpha-and-omega.html#ixzz2yXZBscTb (ful artical here)
